- I got my Chicago Federation of Musicians union card in 1969. I was introduced to music at a very early age. When I was 10 yo my parents traveled alot and I had a nanny take care of me. Her name was LULU and lived just off Maxwell Street. She would take me back there on weekends if my parents were out of town. Thats where I learned to play guitar. My mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday I said a guitar she said can you play and LULU said YES HE CAN. Rest is history. I can give the full story later. Lets just say I learned from the BEST.
