This is a film documentary made in 1972 by Chicago native Harley Cokliss, about Chicago Blues and the migrating black community that brought Blues music from rural Mississippi. Cokliss was inspired to make the film from knowing bluesman and housepainter Johnnie Lewis, who introduced him to Blues music as a child.
