 k, 7 – 8 April 2017 The town of Horsens and the local blues associat
 ion, Blueskartellet, will host the most distinguished blues event of 2
 017 in Europe, the European Blues Challenge, originally established by
  the European Blues Union in 2011. Horsens has become the cultural pow
 er centre in Denmark during the past 15 years with blues having been a
  relevant part of it. Horsens has many years of experience in organizi
 ng big events and international concerts making the organizers more th
 an capable to create a successful, relaxing and friendly blues atmosph
 ere. The main EBC event will be held at Forum Horsens. The Blues Marke
 t and the General Assembly will take place in a unique historical sett
 ing at the former prison, FÆNGSLET. The 21 participating bands (in ra
