DESCRIPTION:*** 8th European Blues Challenge, Hell Norway *** Blues in
  Hell welcomes you to the 8th European Blues Challenge 15th to 18th Ma
 rch 2018 at Scandic Hell in Stjørdal. European Blues Challenge is hos
 ted by The European Blues Union, and is a music contest where the best
  blues bands from 21 countries battle it out in a bid to be voted the 
 best blues band in Europe. This is the Eurovision Song Contest of blue
 s! The competing blues bands have been selected nationally in each of 
 the participating countries. In cooperation with The European Blues Un
 ion the festival will also host The International Blues Market. The ev
 ent is expected to gather around 1500 people from the industry in Euro
 pe. The European Blues Challenge is open to national and international
  audiences. The 21 participating countries are: The Netherlands, Polan
 d, Luxembourg, Spain, Romania, France, Finland, Estonia, Italy, Belgiu
 m, Sweden, Hungary, The United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Austria, Port
 ugal, Slovakia, Switzerland, Denmark, Czech Republic. The event will t
 ake place at Scandic Hell, which is situated next to Trondheim Airport
  at Hell in Stjørdal. The main stage is in the hotel’s Hell Amfi, w
 here 11 bands from different countries will be live on stage Friday 16
 th March, and 10 bands will perfom Saturday 17th March. As in previous
  years, there will be a “magic market” in the hotel lobby, where y
 ou can get high-quality food and drink while you enjoy live music. Thu
 rsday 15th March there will be a WELCOME SHOW at Scandic Hell. Artists
  to perform here will be announced later. Scandic Hell offers various 
 packages for the festival. Three nights, 15th-18th March: Stay in a si
 ngle or double room with breakfast included, as well as tickets for WE
 LCOME SHOW Thursday 15th March and the concerts on Friday and Saturday
  17th March in Hell Amfi. Two nights, 16th-18th March: Stay in a singl
 e or double room with breakfast included, as well as ticket for the co
