DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the poetic reality of Ruigoord. The Fiery Tonge
 n festival is much more than stages with performances. The old island 
 of Ruigoord has been inspired with poetic dreams for 51 years. It is a
  life work of art, in which visitors totally immerse themselves. Anyon
 e who enters Ruigoord is welcomed with a poem: \"So much inspiration i
 n this place, it just can't be otherwise; here is a cosmic leak.\"   F
 iery tongues is a poem in which you can walk around.   \"The most revo
 lutionary act that an individual can commit: create a poetic reality.\

 Tongen (Fiery Tongues) on their way. Together with you and about 400 a
 rt performers, we will create a prophetic and poetic reality where we 
 can celebrate life.\r\n“Those who do not see beauty on Earth will no
 t find it in the afterlife.”\r\nIt will be a mega awesome happening.
 \r\nWe also celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ruigoord as a cultural s
 anctuary with these Fiery Tongues. Our like-minded people from the pas
 t half century are coming from all corners of the world to this jubile
 e.\r\nMusic, words, and dance from Suriname, Kurdistan, Morocco, Tibet
 , America, New Zealand, Africa, and the Dutch analogue avant-garde, fr
 om different districts of Amsterdam and the entire country.\r\nStoryte
 llers and philosophers around the campfire, ceremonies with singing.\r
 \nTheater students in free flight, playshops for children, and organiz
