- I have a passion for the romanticism of the automobile. My acrylic paintings feature iconic personalities, many of them from the rich culture of Jazz and Blues history, with the cars they owned, drove, were filmed with, or wrote about in prose or song. By staging figurative models and actual cars I can create a design unique to my own vision, enriched by exhaustive research and biographical study. Each painting, whether it be a commission or something sprung from my imagination, is a story from beginning to end; I am the happiest when putting that story to canvas.
