- I was born just outside Chicago, IL and by the time I was 13 I had an older friend introducing me to all the oldersters and the newest on the block of black music that came up from the Delta and all over Dixie to play their music and make some money at it. My very first record was Smokey Robinson. I got Oscar Brown, Jr. Of course Stevie Wonder. And on and on. Give me some Blues. Mary Kelly
