The rhythm and soul of blues music are making a powerful return this summer. Marking its landmark 20th anniversary, the renowned Pop Rock Škola is proudly hosting the 12th International Blues Camp. This premier musical and educational gathering will take place from July 9 to July 11, 2026, set against the scenic backdrop of Jasenovac (Lonjsko Polje).

This year’s edition brings together a stellar cast of local icons and international heavyweights:

• Norman Beaker & Band (UK): The legendary British guitarist and official Blues Hall of Fameinductee headlines the camp, bringing his iconic, raw electric blues styling.
• Lela & Joe Kaplowitz (USA): The phenomenal transatlantic duo infuses the camp with their world-class jazz and blues sophistication.
• Riccardo Staraj & Band: Delivering a high-octane performance that seamlessly blends spoken word artistry with fiery blues rhythms.
• bLUZ sKUL: The signature house band keeping the classic electric blues flame burning bright.

Announcement of the first album

"SAVA – STRUG – DELTA – BLUES"

After years of playing together, performing in concerts and working on the promotion of blues music, the band bLUz sKul presents its single and announces its first album entitled "SAVA – STRUG – DELTA – BLUES".

The album title symbolically connects the Sava River with the famous Delta blues, the source of one of the most influential musical trends in the history of modern music. The album brings a cover of traditional blues, with the band's recognizable and authentic musical expression. The band consists of top professional musicians with many years of experience, who during their careers were members of famous blues and rock bands and made countless appearances at festivals, concerts and music events in Croatia and abroad.

The album "SAVA - STRUG - DELTA - BLUES" represents a musical journey that connects the Lonjsko Polje Nature Park and Posavina with the roots of blues that originated along the banks of the Mississippi River, confirming that music knows no borders and that blues lives just as strongly along the Sava as along the Mississippi.
