In the heart of Dalmatia, around 40 kilometers north of Split, on the shores of the Cetina River lies a town called Trilj. Apart from the natural beauties and rich cuisine, Trilj will become famous worldwide for the blues. An 3-days thematic program will make the blues music more familiar to all the visitors.
Thrill Blues Festival is one of the youngest festivals here in Croatia but within the period of four years, as it has started, has become one of the most visited and media exposed blues festivals in Southern East Europe. In 2019 Festival was awarded as the best new festival in Europe, by French blues magazine Zicazine. Michael Limnios said: Thrill Blues Festival is the bigger festival in Southeastern Europe area. Last year around 20000 people visited the festival, and was media covered by many international journals (France, Greece, Mexico, USA, Poland, Canada, Australia, etc) and Croatian TV stations.
