Lucio Dalla Dead: Italian Singer - Songwriter Dies At 68

ROME -- The popular Italian singer-songwriter Lucio Dalla has died in Switzerland during a European concert tour. He was 68.

Dalla's company, Ph.D srl Music Management in Bologna, said the singer died, apparently of a heart attack, after eating breakfast Thursday morning in his hotel in Montreaux, Switzerland. He had given a concert there the evening before.

Davy Jones of The Monkees has passed away. Rest In Peace day dreamer

Davy Jones, lead singer of 1960s made-for-TV band The Monkees, died of a heart attack aged 66, the local medical examiner’s office and a report said Wednesday.
