Don DeVito, a longtime Columbia Records executive who produced the key Bob Dylan albums "Blood on the Tracks" and "Desire" and also worked with artists including James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel, Janis Joplin, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Aerosmith, has died. He was 72.

Each year, The Blues Foundation presents the Keeping the Blues Alive (KBA) Awards to individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the Blues world.

Doyle Bramhall, a Stevie Ray Vaughan collaborator who wrote or co-wrote some of the most recognizable blues songs of the '80s including The House is Rockin', has died. He was 62.
