A few years back, few had heard of nu-blues Les Paul maestro Joe Bonamassa. Yet, he is already planning album #13.

Chicago blues great ‘Honeyboy’ Edwards dies at 95

 

David “Honeyboy” Edwards, the last of the nascent Delta blues musicians, has died.

Mr. Edwards died of congestive heart failure early Monday morning in his Chicago apartment. He was 95 years old.

Manuel Galbán, Legendary Cuban Guitarist, Dies at 80

Manuel Galbán (January 14, 1931 – July 7, 2011) was a Grammy winning Cuban guitarist, pianist and arranger, most notable for his work with Los Zafiros, Ry Cooder and the Buena Vista Social Club.
